ere's a message from Flapjack's new owner:"I ran into Flapjack at a Paw’d Squad adoption fair in La Canada. As soon as I heard his name, I knew he was coming home with me. While my boyfriend and I were in love with the little 2-pounder from the moment we saw him, our older cat, Oscar, took a little while to warm up to him. While she still thinks he is a pest, he has brought new life into her “retirement” years, and has taught her a couple of new tricks. Flapjack has grown substantially from the time we adopted him, and at 17 pounds of pure lean muscle (and over a foot tall) we are beginning to wonder if he is indeed, a cat. His rare height and weight aside, he has many other interesting qualities...webbed feet, an extremely long tail that borders on prehensil, a love of water (he can turn on the bathtub faucet), and an obsession with stealing bobby pins and dropping them down the bathtub drain. (I don’t want to know what my landlord is going to say when he finds Flapjack’s “collection”) The Flapper is a little scared of new people, but very devoted to the people he knows! We are so grateful to the Paw’d Squad for rescuing this little guy, and we don’t know what we would do without him!"
