 huy (the big white guy in the middle) was "hired" as a guard dog at a lot but was fired for licking and rolling over for strangers. After the owners of the lot threatened to take him to the shelter, a good Samaritan stepped in and took him home and called The Paw’d Squad. Now, he has a forever home and his adopters have quite a large bunch of dogs! Here is what they have to say:
At long last, we finally took our Xmas photos. I have attached a couple poses to give you perspective. Xena, our black Lab is about 110 lbs. When we got Chuy, he was about 57lbs. I’m guessing he’s about 85-90 lbs now. When we got Darth, the Shepard Akita mix he was about 45 lbs. I think he is now about 80-85lbs. We got him from GS Rescue. They both almost doubled in size in the past 6 months. Chuy & Darth are “partners in crime”….I mean the “best of buddies”! Poor Xena is always busy trying to keep them in line….a never-ending job I’m afraid!
After 6 months here, I can honestly say that I think they both know that this is their “forever” home. They are both very happy puppies and we all love them very much.
