Carole used to sit in her hammock and when anyone would go in to clean up or feed her she would smack them on top of the head. Bruce was just as nasty but he was more vocal. My friend Cara would come over and spend time with them. She called it "picking on Carole and Bruce". Well eventually they gave in and started letting Cara pet them and a couple months later she decided to adopt them. They were very shy and still afraid at first but Cara gave them all the love and time they needed and they soon came around and are now two of the sweetest (and luckiest) cats you have ever met.
