Sex: female - Birthdate: 12/01 - Declawed: no alypso is a spayed female calico, found on the streets as a stray. She is a beautiful girl and needs a loving home. Unfortunately, she has hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (see http://www.fabcats.org/owners/heart/cardiomyopathy.html) and will need ultrasounds every year to track the progress of the disease. She was having to go to the cardiologist every six months, but as of her last visit, the doctor said we could extend it to a year as she was doing so well. Calypso is not yet on any medication at this time. She's a wonderful, sweet kitty who should not be disregarded just because she was unfortunate enough to have born with this condition. If you would like to adopt Calypso, please fill out our adoption application form. If you have any questions, please contact sebastian_sophie@yahoo.com.
