Sex: male - Birthdate: 8/04 - Declawed: no ufus was trapped at a feral cat site in Pasadena. Heís not feral, but was obviously abandoned by his previous owners. He was not fixed, had an injury to his eye, and had an upper respiratory infection when we found him. We took him to the vet and had him neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV (he is positive for FIV; but negative for feline leukemia!) FYI: cats with FIV can live a LONG, healthy life with good care (you can read more about FIV-positive cats at the Best Friends website), vaccinated him, and also took him to an opthamologist to have his eye checked out. She said that it was a bad injury to his eye and that he has mimimal vision in that one eye (heís cross-eyed as well ‚ but we just think it adds to his charm!!), and that there really isnít anything that can be done for it, but heís not in any pain. Heís a sweet boy, who is very curious about everything, and LOVES to eat! We also think he is absolutely ADORABLE! Weíre hoping to find an open-minded, loving person or family that will give him a FOREVER home where he wonít ever be dumped again!
