Obe

Obe was left in a yard with a Lhasa Apso when his owners moved away. A concerned neighbor called one of our volunteers who rushed over to assess the situation. Two phone calls and the Lhasa had a home. But what to do with a 135 pound Akita? Well, get him into Paw'd Squad of course. Obe is a bit overweight and just figured out how to walk on a leash. This gentle giant is amazing. He is easy going, good natured, kinda lazy and an all around nice guy. We've got him on an exercise/weight reduction program so he should be in great shape in a week or two. He let us brush him, didn't react when one of our over zealous female dogs tried to engage him in an "active discussion", has no food or toy issues and we are SO happy we found him. Because this breed CAN be a bit demanding, we are going to only adopt Obe to experienced Akita owners.
