 y name is Jeffrey. At the end of October, I was at a County shelter curled up in a ball and just about ready to give it all up. I was covered in fleas and my fur had all fallen out due to demodectic mange. And I was starving... I was so sick I couldn't eat. Then an angel appeared and took me to the vet. I was given a blanket and a big bowl of food and medicine. Life was suddenly looking good. Then this other angel came to the vet and named me Jeffrey. I got toys and treats and a new collar and leash. My doctor says I'm 1-1/2 years old... I need to gain FORTY pounds (But he says I have beautiful teeth). Yes, I'm still pretty sick and they told me I wouldn't feel good for about 4-5 months but now I have lots of people who love me and are taking care of me. And they all say how handsome I am. Me!
