Delia

Delia is a wonderful little dog who had a run of bad luck at her previous home. She was found wandering the intersection of a busy street with a little friend. The other dog had tags on his collar and was return to his rightful owner. However Delia had no identification or microchip and no one claimed her. But maybe that was a blessing in disguise, as Delia was in very bad shape when she was found --she had obviousley been neglected in her previous home. She was not spayed and it appeared that she had a litter or two. She was infested with fleas, causing a horrible skin allergy and patches of her hair to fallout. Her teeth were terrible, having already lost a few. Now Delia is free flea and receiving treatment for her skin; her hair is growing nicely and she will look even cuter after a visit to the groomer's. She is spayed, current on her shots, and has had dentistry done. Unfortunately she lost a few more teeth and now has a funny, crooked smile. But she is doing 100% better and happy as ever. Delia is a dog who just needs a place to call home. She loves to nestle with you and just wants to be held, following you into any room that you visit. Delia is housebroken. She is not too fond of cats, so it is not recommended that she go to a home with cats -- it may be too stressful for the furry felines. Delia would make a great addition to any home willing to open their hearts to her.
