was turned into the Paw'd Squad because her owner fell ill and could no
longer care for her. This beautiful dog was very scared at first... she
had never been socialized or out of her backyard and did not know WHY
her people had left her with us. After an hour with Paw'd Squad volunteers
she relaxed a little and accepted treats from our hands VERY gently. AND
she's a Rottie...smart, adaptable, and people-oriented and we know she
will feel comfortable with our Squad very soon. Cugina is fine with other
dogs and her previous guardians said she was wonderful with the grandkids.
She does need to gain about 15 pounds and we are definitely working on
that. Cugina is spayed and up to date on shots. She will be available
for adoption at the end of June, 2008.
