 J is a 3-year old lab/ridgeback mix who was named after a guitar player and has been an ideal companion since he was adopted as an 8-week-old puppy. He will spend the afternoon lying with his head on your lap watching the game just as happily as he will run you ragged chasing tennis balls and playing tug-o-war at the park. He's energetic without being hyperactive, and he will greet you every day with a wagging tail and a little whine that's his way of asking to go for a walk. AJ is also a ladies man. He loves the ladies. He takes immediately to females of all ages, but is sometimes initially timid around men. He obeys basic commands, loves doing tricks for treats, and is always up for rough-housing. Both a buddy and a sweetheart. He is fully housebroken and is way past the chewing up the house stage. AJ's guardian is now travelling for his job and feels that AJ deserves a home that will give him the attention he deserves.
