Pat

Pat is a 3 month old Rottie pup with hypospadia. Adults can look this condition up on the internet or call The Paw’d Squad for more information. In addition, Pat has a heart defect which is inoperable. We are going to manage this condition and keep Pat healthy and comfortable for as long as we can. Hey, maybe in a couple months down the road, some veterinarian will invent a procedure to cure animals with Pat’s problem. In the meantime, his medicine is quite costly and any donation to help this little guy would be greatly appreciated. Pat will stay with the Paw’d Squad (in the same home as Bernie, the Rott in the wheelchair) and will get lots of love, good food and all the vet help he needs.

UPDATE 1-5-07
Pat is still going strong and he is doing great on his heart meds! Pat has had surgery to "fix" the hypospadia - his cardiologist gave the OK and he came through the surgery just fine! Pat and Bernie both get along great in a household of other "misfits" and they both manage to get in as much trouble as they possibly can!
