 addie is a 2-year old female Cockapoo (Cocker Spaniel and Poodle Mix). Maddie used to live in a home with 2 larger dogs and was going to be abandoned by her owner because she "didn't guard his home as well as the other 2 dogs". Well a Paw'd Squad volunteer stepped in and offered to take Maddie off his hands. Maddie was filthy, all matted (hence her name) and in heat when she came to us. But look at what beauty lay underneath all that dirty hair. Maddie was groomed and now her hair will grow back all nice and curly. She is spayed, has all her shots, is micro-chipped, on flea control, and dewormed. Maddie is a little underweight now, but a good breakfast and dinner will help her reach the healthy weight of about 25 lbs. She is a sweet, loving dog who just wants to be held and loved by her new owner. She is great with other dogs, cats, and small children. Maddie would do best in a home with another dog - she's really a "doggie dog". We are working on getting Maddie housebroken, but she is so smart she should learn very quickly. She is well behaved and walks great on the leash. She is full of energy and loves to go on long walks. Maddie would make a great addition to your family!!
