 ady Ophelia and her companion Sir Osti were relinquished by a family who were "tired of them". What they failed to let us know was that Lady O was 2 months pregnant. She will be delivering her puppies any day now (first week in June) and will not be available for adoption until her puppies are weaned. But we wanted to get the word out there that this adorable little gal is going to be adoptable along with her puppies towards the end of summer. Lady O had never been in a house until she got to her foster home. We are so glad we got her....the thought of the puppies being born in an unkempt backyard was just horrible! Hopefully, Sir Osti is the Daddy - we'll know for sure in a week or two. In any case, she will be spayed prior to adoption! No more puppies for our Lady Ophelia.
Update: On 6/2/07 at approximately 2:30 p.m. Ophelia gave birth to six healthy little girls. Mom and babies are doing great.
