Keller

Keller is a sweet inquisitive small sized Australian Shepherd who is deaf and has some vision impairments. His mother was also deaf so he inherited the trait. However, it has not slowed him down. He is mellow for an Aussie and is a real cuddle bug. He is learning sign language and tries to be well behaved. Keller sleeps through the night in a crate and is mostly housebroken. Keller would be best suited in a home where his people would be around a lot while he adjusts. He loves other dogs and would be a fantastic playmate. Keller is learning about the fascinating world of cats and lives with one now as well as 3 other dogs. Keller needs a family who is willing to learn sign language and continue his training. Keller's mother was adopted by a family with a deaf child and they are doing wonderfully.
