Want to see more dogs like these? We may have other Great Danes for adoption.

Haus

Haus was being turned into the Baldwin Park shelter when one of our volunteers stopped his guardian in the parking lot. It seemed this person's parents decided the dog was too big and wanted him gone "immediately". Well what did they expect when they got a Great Dane? A 25 pound dog? Haus is wonderful. He could care less about cats and gets along great with other dogs and kids. They say that timing is everything and thank goodness one of the Squad was in that parking lot or poor Haus would be sitting in a cold cage right now. Danes are just big goofballs who take awhile to mature so Haus' adopters should be prepared for a very large lap dog. We totally love him!
