Grace

Grace is an 11-month Doberman/Rottweiler puppy who was found as a stray and picked up by Animal Control- already spayed and extremely thin - on 3/29. Someone at the shelter thoughtlessly fed this starving pup a hot dog thru the bars and consequently had their finger nipped. So poor Grace was labeled "greedy" and condemned to death. GREEDY? She was starving. When we got her out of the shelter she ate SIX bowls of food, licked our faces and danced around like she was the happiest, luckiest puppy on earth! We decided to test her "greediness" and gave her a big knuckle bone. After about 5 minutes we reached in her crate and took it away....no fingers nipped...just a very sad look on her face. Grace gets along with all dogs, big and small. Our toy poodle scared her when he barked at her but she did not react negatively at all...just gave him a look and walked away. She knows sit, down and paw and is very nice on a leash. Grace will be a wonderful addition to any family. She needs to gain about 10 pounds....we are working on that now.
