 aisy is a 3 1/2 year old female Shepherd mix, who weighs 53.0 lbs. Daisy came from a home of neglect where she was confined to a small, cemented area with no love and attention, until she was rescued by one of our Paw'd Squad volunteers. Despite her life of neglect, Daisy is great around adults and kids. She likes to have her belly scratched and loves to run around, she is just a bundle of energy. We are working on getting her to bring back her toy, instead of having to chase her around - but I think it's her way to get us to play tag with her. We think she is a big puppy herself, since so little attention was given to her when she was growing up. Daisy rides well in the car and loves to go for long walks. Daisy is spayed, current on her shots, and on flea control. Daisy was adopted to a home, but unfortunately she was returned to the Paw'd Squad. Daisy needs to go to a home where she cannot be an escape artist, as she has the habit of trying to get out and explore the neighborhood. In addition, Daisy does not like loud noises; they make her nervous and unsettled. This means the 4th of July is an especially difficult time for her, but nothing a few tranquilizers won’t fix. Daisy has also been to training and is doing great. All she needs is a loving home to continue her training and have her be a member of the family. Daisy would do great in a home where she is the only K-9, ready to be loved and spoiled or as a little sister to a larger, male dog. Daisy had one litter of puppies before coming to Paw'd Squad. All of her puppies were adopted to wonderful, loving homes - now it is her turn.
