e found Clover at the pound hiding and shivering in the back of her kennel run. She was too scared to show off her good looks and sweet personality, so she was being skipped over by adopters and was scheduled to be put down. Luckily, a volunteer stopped to take a closer look and discovered a gorgeous dog with a wonderful temperament. Clover is a total doll and loves to be in the company of people. Sweet and a bit shy at first, she is quickly coming out of her shell and will be a wonderful family member. She is young and still has puppy-like energy when she is feeling comfortable, and she may still have some growing to do.She has been in her foster home for a week now, and is doing really well with her foster brother and sister. However, we have noticed that Clover is a bit scared around dogs she does not know, and can be choosy about her canine friends. She would most likely be fine with the right match, and with a slow and proper introduction so she is not too overwhelmed. Since Clover is so people-oriented, we would prefer that she go into a home where someone is around a lot. She currently doesn't like to be left by herself for very long, which is common among dogs that have been abandoned at the pound. A big thank you goes out to Robert Holland who sponsored Clover’s rescue.
