Big Bear

A couple spotted a dog on the side of the road on their way back from a snowboarding trip to Big Bear. They thought he must be dead but when they turned around and stopped he was still alive but badly hurt. Big Bear had been hit by a car and left to die. They scooped him up and took him to an emergency vet clinic. The doctor told them he had two broken back legs & recommended the dog be put to sleep. The couple called lots of rescue groups, who were happy to help until they found out he was a pit bull, then they would not offer much help until the Paw’d Squad was reached and a great vet agreed to do the surgery at half price. So "Big Bear" went into surgery. He had one pin placed in one leg and both were put in a cast that went over his entire back end connecting the two legs. Unfortunately, after weeks of confinement, Big Bear did have to have one of his legs amputated. But, it has not slowed him down and he is running around and having a ball with the other puppies in his foster. How about him running around in your house?
