aggie, originally named Bambi, was at the North Central shelter and needed immediate rescue. Maggie had a condition known as carpal luxation/flexion syndrome. She had swollen joints and underdeveloped muscles in her front legs. This condition was caused by inadequate nutrition at her previous “home”. A lovely couple adopted Maggie and got her SO healthy that they realized this pup just has too much energy for them. Maggie needs a new home now – preferably a home with another dog who likes to run and wrestle. Maggie has no lingering affects from her previous illness; her legs are strong, her health is A+ and she is ready to give someone lots of love! Her ideal home would be with an athletic individual/family who likes the outdoors.
